This policy explains what happens to your payments and your plan when you cancel, downgrade or upgrade your SparkyMinis subscription.
In short
- We do not give money back. Payments are final and non-refundable.
- Cancelling or downgrading happens at the end of the period you already paid for. You keep everything you paid for until then.
- Upgrading happens straight away, and your previous subscription is cancelled so you are never billed twice.
No refunds
All subscription payments to SparkyMinis are final and non-refundable, in full or in part, including for unused time left in a billing period. This applies to monthly and annual plans alike.
This does not limit any right you have under the law where you live.
Cancelling
When you cancel a paid subscription:
- Your plan stays fully active until the end of the period you already paid for. You keep every feature of your current plan until then.
- At the end of that period your subscription does not renew and you are not charged again. Your account moves to the free plan, where one is available.
- Cancelling does not bring the end date forward and does not return any part of what you paid.
Downgrading
Moving from a higher plan to a lower one, including down to the free plan, works the same way:
- Your current plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
- The lower plan starts at the next billing cycle, not before.
- We do not issue a refund, part-refund or credit for the difference in price.
Upgrading
When you upgrade to a higher plan:
- The upgrade takes effect immediately once your payment succeeds, and the new plan's billing starts then.
- Your previous subscription is cancelled at that moment, so only one subscription is ever billed.
- If your previous plan had paid time left, that unused time is not refunded in money. It is converted into extra days added to your new plan, so your next regular charge falls later.
Data above a lower plan's limits
Cancelling or moving to a lower plan never deletes your data. If you have more items or team members than the lower plan includes, we tell you first and give you at least 30 days' notice. After that we archive the extras: the most recently updated items stay active, older items are archived (kept, and restored if you upgrade again), and team members beyond the seat limit are switched off rather than removed. The plan-changes page on SparkyLi explains this in plain language.
Failed or disputed payments
If a payment fails or is disputed, we follow the standard retry behaviour of our payment processor (Razorpay) before changing your subscription. Repeated failures may put your account on hold until payment succeeds.
Questions
If you believe you were charged in error, write to [email protected]. Payments are non-refundable by design, but we will look into any genuine billing error on our side.
